This recently completed project gives our staff world class training and eating space that you would expect to see at companies like Google. Uniplan’s staggering growth and bright prospects now sees us employ over 100 staff. This amazing growth from a three man family business 15 years ago is fantastic for Armidale. Along with the cafeteria and training space, we have also recently completed an extension to their factory pushing the total building area to over an acre!

“Never in our dreams did we expect to grow this quick and provide stable employment for over 100 staff. This further investment into our facilities not only increases our production capacity but also give our staff the world class facilities they deserve.”

We manufacture transportable homes, cabins and villas. These are installed all through NSW, southern Queensland and Victoria. The factory can produce a fully complete building every single day and it takes only 11 days from start to finish.

The completed buildings include all fittings such as floor coverings, curtains and appliances – ready to move in. Our success has been built on providing a hassle free solution and customising the designs to suit each and every client.

Within the same business we also manufacture bathroom furniture under the brand name Timberline. This production line uses up to the minute CNC machinery and streamline assembly processes to allow us to produce between 110 and 150 vanities per day! These are all custom made to clients’ orders to their exact colour and handle choices and shipped within 7 days all around the country.

Without our staff we’ve got nothing. With all our staff pulling together for the company goals we have the world at our feet. It’s amazing what strong teamwork can achieve.”

This is MP Adam Marshal’s second visit to the company and he notes that, “In 1999, Uniplan started out in Armidale as a three man team, working from a rental property consisting of a small office and a shipping container with everything being built outdoors,” Mr Marshall said.

“Today, as one of the biggest employers in Armidale and a staff of 100, this family-based business now boasts a world-class manufacturing facility producing affordable, quality products and a reputation for customer service equally impressive.“ In opening this new building, I’d like to congratulate Managing Director Ben Scott and his team on their vision and commitment and wish them every success as they increase their output and grow their market.”

We are also currently working with the State Government with a view to securing additional land to allow for future expansion. By looking ahead they are ensuring ongoing investment and growth for the Armidale region.
